What is PugSync?

Does Shopify Free include AutoSync?
No. Shopify Free includes 1 active source and up to 4 article imports all-time, with manual sync only. AutoSync, CDN image hosting, and analytics start on Shopify Starter ($7.99/month).
What happens to imported posts if I cancel?
Synced articles remain in your Shopify or Webflow blog after you cancel or uninstall PugSync. They are only removed if you explicitly delete them in the app or in your store admin.
Are AI features required?
No. AI feed parsing, SEO metadata, and translation are optional on Shopify Pro only. They are off unless you turn them on.
How can I try PugSync before paying?
Use the free plan to import up to 4 articles from 1 source. No card is required, and imported posts remain in your store.
Are there source limits I should know about?
Some feeds only expose a limited number of recent posts in RSS — for example, Squarespace often returns the latest ten publications. Unlimited on Starter applies to what the feed provides, not a hidden archive beyond RSS.
